Elephants

Elephants can grow eyelashes up to 12.5 cm (5 inches) long - these are long enough to stop their eyes from drying out.

Elephants have poor vision but the do have a good sense of smell.

Elephants only have FOUR teeth - all molars: two at the top and two at the bottom.

They are used to chew the 136 to 181 kg (300 to 400 pounds) of food that they eat each day.

The tusks of an elephant are modified second incisors in the upper jaw.
